Fellow Readers,

This world, this life, this experience, it’s a maze that was never meant to be investigated. We are an accident of creation, us humans. A product of millions of genetic mutations, mistakes of a microscopic scale that has allowed our intelligence, and thus our people, to flourish.

I readily plead guilty to holding cynical and misanthropic views of mankind. It is painfully obvious to me that we are human, all too human, and the pain and suffering we impose with habitual skill has extinguished all hope in my mind and in my very soul that we can…
